We are Jim and Kim Rhindress – a happily married couple who have been playing together since 2015 and are the songwriters of award-nominated Rhindress (duo or band).
We began writing our own songs in 2017 and now have more than 20 original tunes. Our first EP “My Heart Is Yours” and was released November 1, 2021, a 10 song album Cut Flowers was released September 1, 2022 and a 4-song EP Left In The Dark was released in June, 2023.
True Canadiana folk-rock, our songs are based on real-life experiences and the people we meet during our travels across Canada and the world. The songs we write cover a wide range of musical styles from ballads to country rock to comedy blues.
We play as an acoustic duo with guitar and bass or as a full band with keys, and drums. Fun, dynamic and always entertaining, Rhindress always takes their audience on a great ride through Canada.
