Hello musicians!
The bcbands.ca website has been up and running for three months now. There are nearly 200 bands listed, and the website now also lists any Open Mic and Jam Sessions I could find around BC – there are currently 74 listed.
New feature: Events Listing
List any of your upcoming gigs / performances.
Go to the Submit Event Details page to submit an event – fill out as much information as you can, or include a link to where all that information is already listed.
(If you don’t send enough info., it’ll slow the process down, because we will have to email back & forth etc.)
Here’s the plan:
- A new events page will go live at the start of March, which will display all listed events (so don’t submit any February events).
- Also, on your own band/musician page on bcbands.ca, an individual calendar will list all your events.
- And finally, each venue page will include its own calendar listing events at that venue (that have been listed on the bcbands.ca website).
Hopefully I can make all this happen – I am a little bit apprehensive on the amount of time it will take me to maintain all this information on a weekly basis 😊
