There are now a list of music categories you can select from, when you submit your band / musician information on the Submit Details page.
When submitting your info, select any of the categories that apply to the music you play.
As of today, the categories are:
Acoustic, Alternative Rock, Bluegrass, Blues, Christian Contemporary, Classical, Covers / Tribute Act, Country, Disco, Electro, Electronic, Experimental, Folk, Francophone, Funk, Gospel, Grunge, Hardcore, Heavy Metal, Hip Hop / Rap, Indie Rock, Indigenous, Instrumental, Jazz, Latin, Opera, Orchestra, Pop, Pop Rock, Power Metal, Punjabi, Punk Rock, R & B (Rhythm & Blues), Reggae, Rock, Ska, Soul, Swing, World
